Fruits and vegetables from the garden of eden

Food is a passion! On a regular basis Angela writes texts about common and unusal fruits and vegetables from the garden of eden. For the day by day inspiration of customers who buy the fresh and ripe delicacies. With fun facts (did you know that Mark Twain raved about the watermelon as “the most important luxury good of the world”?) and background information (“imbianchimento” is essential for radicchio) for chefs, gourmets and hobby cooks. About cress, plums, buddha fingers and the national strawberry of France. About mouth-watering stone fruit, organic vegetables or the spring vegetable season. Angela will take you to the Italian wholesale market and inspire you to cook with the excellent barba di frate, experiment with fresh cima di rapa or introduce you to some crazy looking trend vegetable, puntarella.

Angela writes (in commission of a social media agency, grundrausch, who also provide for the beautiful photography) for a German special market and supplier for groceries, with more than 10 city locations in Germany. In 2008 the first foreign branch was founded in Vienna. The group handles 7,200 tons of food annualy and has around 5,000 products on offer. In addition to the pick-up markets, all stores operate a delivery service for restaurants and retailers.
