The Red mingles with the Blue, the grassy Green merges into the Dark Green. unbox – THE FORUM 2018 introduced strong colors to guide participants through the worlds of digitalized banking. From April, 25th – 26th 2018, unbox – THE FORUM 2018, the first joint event of MehrWert Service Corporation (MWSG) and Sparkassen-Finanzportal (SFP) took place in Frankfurt/Main. The motto was ”#unbox – discover, unpack, use“. About 1,300 participants from savings banks, companies and institutions of the Sparkassen Financial Group attended the event and got important impulses for their daily work.

The FORUM 2018 pooled the German Savings Banks Association‘s expertise in communications, digital services, value-added solutions and media distribution, and presented new joint solutions. The keynotes were held by the philosopher and mastermind Richard David Precht, by David Sneddon, Director Central Europe of Google, and by Dr. Joachim Schmalzl, Managing Director of the DSGV.

In intensive workshops called Big Boxes with thematic deep dive, in practice-oriented Smart Boxes as well as in crisp sprint formats like Speed Boxes, the participants learned about a variety of services and digitalization topics.

The Participants could gain in-depth insights into different digital solutions from the customer‘s perspective while visiting the four theme worlds. Best practice examples of savings banks for savings banks, a special trainee camp and the network evening „unbox the night!“ completed the FORUM and provided space for exchange and networking among experts.

mani design consulting supported the event from visual concept to final art work: we developed the theme and the key visual in coordination with the marketing experts, the collateral, the theme worlds as well as the trade fair stands for the exhibitors.
